For the NYC Mayoral Primaries, The Wall Street Journal sent me to an Upper East Side cigar lounge, where Republican hopeful John Catsimatidis was having a campaign stop. It was a such a throwback. Huge leather couches, lamps, clinking whiskey glasses and air hazier than Beijing. Catsimatidis was the focus, but I was particularly drawn to this guy, Burt Schoenbach. He'd been the Commissioner for Corrections for Decades. Now, he just enjoys a cigar. When I got home, my girlfriend made me take off all of my clothes and leave them outside the apartment.
