After a long hot summer, finally some relief. I'm not alone in saying that Autumn (ok, Fall) is the best time of year in New York City. It's as if you can breathe again. The humidity eases and the streets are noticeably less crowded as the summer vacationers go back to their hibernation. Crisp mornings feel easier to start the day with and waiting on subway platforms no longer results in extreme perspiration . But enjoy it while you can, because winter is coming.
